Using the sticky key assistant was was my back door into the system and was very close to doing a reinstall. I've also successfully been able to boot iso images off of discs.
I rebooted it. & Then a black screen with the mouse cursor came on. No beep, only a black screen. Someone may have a bootable software solution or otherwise. But now it's all upgraded and patched up to SP2 again and is working fine.
