My WD 80Gb NTFS became 32Gb after playing with different tools such as Partition Magic and many others. After a computer crash both of them became 137GB (in bios and xp). It told me there were no pictures to view. I can't see it in Windows Explorer (double-click on My Computer) but I can access it through a command prompt and through Internet Explorer.

No, it does not perform any kind of formatting; furthermore it does not read from or write to the user data area at all (including partition tables, boot records, etc). Whatever you do, avoid on-board video, because it's universally crappy. They both work fine on their own when plugged into USB ports. In the graphical display of files at the bottom of the WinDirStat window was one enormous blob filling nearly half the drive.
