I like this work but it lacks an old browser support. So hopefully, you're hip to this "process". Don´t know if it is a good solution, but it did the trick. However, this didn't fix the problem for everyone and since it's not possible to play all videos on YouTube using the HTML5 player, you'll still run into the freezing and crashing
