Windows 7 - Strange Problem

All drivers have been downloaded and updated from MSU website. Then I suggest fixes for all of the problems that I've spotted. About 10 minutes later a similar freeze occurred. About 1/4 way through boot the computer would appear to lock up, although the spinning dots were still spinning. She will be off to college this coming Sept.
